Is Reddy Pipe & Supply BABA certified?
Yes. Reddy Pipe & Supply is BABA certified.
Which projects need BABA compliant pipe?
Infrastructure projects that receive federal financial assistance: water and wastewater systems, roads and bridges, public buildings and similar public works, including work funded through state revolving funds. Your contract documents will say whether BABA applies.
What should I send with a BABA quote request?
Tell us the project is federally funded, the product, size, grade and quantity, and any documentation your owner or engineer requires. We quote pipe that meets the requirement and supply the paperwork with it.
Is BABA the same as Buy American?
No. The older Buy American Act covers federal government purchases. BABA covers federally funded infrastructure built by states, cities, utilities and their contractors. Ask your contracting officer which applies.
